Supportive Services

Substance Abuse Assessment

Substance use assessments can help families or individuals determine their likelihood of having a substance abuse problem. Any assessment findings may also be compiled in a letter to requesting authorities (attorneys or judges), spouses, or other such authorities.

Toxicology Testing

Urine toxicology testing can be used by clients to verify or support their abstinence or may be required by certain vocational or legal authorities. We do in-office testing that is then sent to a lab. If test results are positive, we will work with you to make sure you get the support you need to re-establish abstinence. Most insurance will cover the testing, and can be billed. Self pay rates are also available.

Please note: This testing is available to all clients of the The Resource Group Counseling and Education Center, Inc., even those not in a Resource Connect Program.

Family Program

We encourage family involvement and work with families to provide the best possible outcomes for the clients we serve. Family members participate in private and group sessions— generally without the identified client being present—to gain knowledge and learn new behaviors that will help them better interact with their loved ones.

We know that our clients’ families need their own recovery; by offering consultations with our staff, we hope the families we work with will get the support they need.

Additional Mental Health Services

If additional counseling services are needed The Resource Group is avaialble with a variety of clinicians. You can learn more about that here.

Vocational Support

We at Resource Connect are convinced that finding meaningful work is an integral part of the recovery process. We will work with clients to find them meaningful work and can refer for employment coaching and, in some cases, skill training.
