The goal of the adult outpatient program is to sustain and deepen recovery for participants who have successfully demonstrated abstinence either in a higher level of care (intensive outpatient or inpatient) or who have demonstrated abstinence with community supports.
Outpatient groups are 90 minutes long and incorporate education, discussion, and process. Different group focuses and frequencies are available for clients with specific needs and interests, including:
- Those who have longer periods of abstinence and want to deepen their understanding of living in recovery.
- Those seeking to improve relationships damaged by substance use disorders.
To be admitted to the outpatient program, clients must have two months of continuous sobriety; clients with severe mental health disorders may not be appropriate.
The CARF Three-Year Accreditation was awarded to The Resource Group for the following programs:
IOP/OP Adult Addiction Treatment
IOP Adolescent Addiction Treatment
